The Nursing and Midwifery Council require five written reflections in the three years since your registration was last renewed (NMC 2021b).

Completing this reflection could support you with your revalidation.

The NMC mentions nurses do not have to use a reflective model to formulate the reflections, however, they are beneficial for the structure (NMC 2024). The structure is adapted from the Gibbs (1988) model of reflection.
