It is important for healthcare professionals to look after their physical and mental wellbeing, and it is important to seek support when needed.
Support available within the hospital:

Mental Health Crisis (MIND 2025)
A mental health crisis is when you feel overwhelmed and in urgent need of support. You may experience:
- Feeling intensely anxious, and experiencing panic attacks or flashbacks.
- An episode of hypomania, mania or psychosis.
- Feeling suicidal, or self harming.
Crisis services available:
- Going to A&E or call 999 if you are unable to get there.
- Emergency GP appointments.
- Mental health helplines.
